Setting up Okta Verify

It is important to remove your current verification device if you plan to get a new one. If you do get a new device and did not remove the old one, you will need to create a ticket with Servicedesk.
Step 1:
On any web browser, go to, "Pirates.Okta.com".
Step 2:
Sign in using your Pirates' Email and Password.

Step 3:
Select the Set up button.

Step 4:
Once presented with the QR code. You will need to open the Okta Verify app on your phone.

Step 5:
Now on your phone, open the Okta Verify app. or download it from the App store/Google Play store.

Step 6:
Once it is downloaded, press the + button or Add Account.

Step 7:
Select Organization.

Step 8:
You can skip the add account from another device.
However, if you received a new phone and still have your old phone, this is a good time to update your Multi-Factor device.

Step 9:
Select, Yes, Ready to Scan.
There may be a pop-up that requests access to Camera. If so, select Allow.

Step 10:
Once you have scanned the QR code with your phone's camera. You will be given the option to enable Face ID confirmation. This is optional.

Step 11:
You have now set up Okta Verify on your phone. Select Done. Now back on your web browser, the QR code should be gone, and you will see an Optional section. You can ignore this and select, Continue.

Congratulations you have finished setting up Okta Verify.
Additionally:
If you know you are getting a new device, before you wipe your old device, you can:
Go to Pirates.okta.com > Sign in > Select your name in the top right > Select Settings > Scroll down and on the right > Select Set up another device.
